I also have concerns about forgiving student loan debt. I earned my degree while working full time and attending Evening College. I only took as many classes as I could afford. It took me a total of nine years to complete my bachelors degree requirements, but I have no regrets and no student debt. I do believe that there are predatory lenders that should be accountable for their business practices. I have one difference of opinion on your DeWine comments, particularly about Amy Acton. First of all, it’s Dr. Acton, which you failed to recognize. More importantly, you glossed over why she resigned. The fact is that she and her family were threatened by protesters at her home. The steps she was recommending at the time with the approval of DeWine were based on the science available at the time about a novel, new virus to save lives. I think DeWine allowed her to be seen as the enemy. It’s a damn shame.

I am old school when it comes to student debt. I’ll help, as my parents & husband did (I helped my husband get a PhD), but my kids had their own debt along with many scholarships & our help. It was THEIR responsibility… (period!)

We or I wish the Don’t Say Gay bill passes. IMHO I believe it is parents job, duty to talk to their children about “Birds & Bees” but today the B&B’s stretches far beyond what it used to mean, still parents duty.

Steve Scalise to Joe Biden — Stop Begging Dictators for Oil, Unleash U.S. Energy… HEY GREAT IDEA BIDEN!!! Just makes one wonder what’s up with NOT opening our oil? Things WE DON’T KNOW YET? Famous quote from the 1950’s concerning “politics” in the U.S.: “If you think it happened by accident. . . it didn’t.”
